You know, I was thinking about this song I wrote last summer, sitting on my grandpa's old porch in North Carolina. It's like, these stories just come to you sometimes, and my band, we were just jamming, trying to capture that feeling of home.

So when we're in the studio, it's like, we start with just me and the acoustic guitar, kind of stripped down, you know? That's where the real magic happens. Then we bring the band in, and it just kind of builds naturally from there.

You know, writing these songs, it's like telling stories about your life and everything. I was sitting on my back porch the other day, thinking about how music brings people together, and that's what country music's all about, you know, just real life stuff.
