To begin, I would like to extend my sincere gratitude and appreciation to the organizers of this important and distinguished international symposium for their tremendous efforts in organizing this event, titled: "Methodological Foundations for Preparing Scientific Research in the Humanities and Social Sciences." The title of my presentation is: "Electronic Documentation of Academic Sources: Challenges and Opportunities in the Field of Social Sciences." Introduction Amid the rapid digital transformation sweeping the world, the electronic documentation of academic sources has become an urgent necessity to ensure the quality of academic research—particularly in the social sciences, a field characterized by its diverse disciplines and varied sources. With the proliferation of digital tools and specialized software, researchers now face new challenges and opportunities related to documentation, raising fundamental questions about the impact of these modern tools on the quality of scientific research. Core Question: How does electronic documentation of academic sources affect the quality of scientific research in the social sciences? Subsidiary Questions: What challenges do researchers face in electronically documenting academic sources? What opportunities does electronic documentation offer to enhance the efficiency of scientific research? How can researchers in the social sciences adapt to the digital shift in documentation? Study Objectives: Analyze the challenges of electronic documentation of academic sources. Identify the opportunities electronic documentation provides to support research in the social sciences. Propose solutions and recommendations for developing digital documentation strategies.
