My love, I really wish I could call you whenever I want and hear your voice, but the assignment I’m on right now has strict restrictions on communication at the base. It’s frustrating for me too because if it were up to me, I would be talking to you every chance I get. Please don’t ever think the silence means distance in my heart. Even when I can’t call, you’re always on my mind and in my heart. I miss you more than I can explain, and hearing your voice is something I look forward to the moment I’m allowed to again. Just know that no matter how busy or restricted things get here, my love for you hasn’t changed one bit. If anything, being away from you only reminds me how much you truly mean to me.
