In our opinion, advertisements should not promote harmful products like cigarettes because they can influence people in a negative way. Many advertisements try to make smoking look attractive, but they do not show the real consequences for people’s health. Governments must regulate tobacco advertising more strictly in order to protect public health, especially young people who might be easily influenced by these messages. Companies should also be more responsible about the type of images and messages they share with society. They ought to consider the impact that their advertisements can have on people’s behavior and decisions. Promoting unhealthy habits for profit is not something that companies should encourage. In addition, schools and the media could help educate people about the risks of smoking. When people understand the dangers, they can make better decisions about their health. Society can also support campaigns that promote healthy lifestyles instead of harmful ones. For these reasons, we believe that advertising should focus on positive and healthy messages that help people live better lives.
