This verse begins with a command to the Prophet Muhammad to declare to the people that Allah is One. This establishes the Oneness of Allah in every sense—Allah is unique and indivisible. There is no partner, equal, or counterpart to Allah. Everything in creation is dependent on Him, and He needs nothing.
