What if I told you, that whatever it is you feel that God has taken away from you, might just be because he wants to show you how good it can get? Wait, let me land. You may be in a season in your life where you have prayed and trusted God for something new. Maybe you’re looking for a pivotal career change, a new house, perhaps you’re looking for the perfect partner? whatever it is, big or small, you’re trusting God to do his big one in your life. And after waiting patiently, you realise the change in which you are looking to happen doesn’t happen in the way in which you expect it to … You start asking yourself is God real? Was I being dumb or delusional for thinking that he would make the impossible possible? Well first and foremost let me remind somebody today, that God is not a man who should lie, ever. Usually, when you are expectant for something you think in a linear way, maybe if I do this, then this and this will potentially happen and then boom, I’m living in an answered prayer. But God’s plans doesn’t always work out that way. You’ve probably heard a million times the saying “everything happens for a reason” or that “God is very intentional”. He sure is and most definitely everything does happen for a reason. Reasons that you can learn from and see Gods’ goodness through it all. You may think that you’ve seen jealously before? Wait till you see the jealously from God himself. Sometimes God will make sure that all your plans and ideas fail and not fall through just so that you see his faithfulness and glory shine through it all, reminding you that your father in heaven, that creator of the entire universe surely is the only one who can and will give you the desires of your heart. just as he says in his word, for it is impossible to please God without faith. For anyone who wants to come to him must believe that God exists and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him. Be patient, take heart and remember to have gratitude. There is joy in believing in your heart that God has already done what he promised you he would do. It’s a matter of when. Remember your emotions are your worst enemy. During this time period stay pure, be still so you don’t miss out on what he is doing through the midst of it all. Your breakthrough is much closer than you think…
